½ Dollar "1869" (Pattern)
Obverse: Bust of Liberty wearing a diadem behind which is inscribed "LIBERTY." Motto on ribbon below at rim with "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" at rim above., Reverse: Large "50" above "CENTS" center within a wreath of oak and laurel. "STANDARD SILVER" and date at rim.


½ Dollar "1869" (Pattern)
Obverse: Liberty bust right, wearing a liberty cap, and a ribbon inscribed "LIBERTY" going from hair across neck. "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" at rim above, and the motto on a ribbon, is at the rim below., Reverse: Large "50" above CENTS" in center within a wreath of oak and laurel (initial "B" in wreath). "STANDARD SILVER," two stars, and date at rim.


½ Dollar "1877" (Pattern; copper)
Obverse: Bust of Liberty left in center of ring of dots. "E · PLURIBUS . UNUM," stars, and date at rim., Reverse: Eagle left standing on wide scroll inscribed with motto. Behind scroll there are arrows and olive branches. "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "· HALF DOLLAR ·" at rim.


½ Dollar (50th Anniversary of Apollo 11)
Obverse: Shoe print on the lunar surface,inscription of spaceflight programs separated by lunar phases above. Inscription below as well., Reverse: A close-up of the photograph ‘Buzz Aldrin on the Moon’ taken July 20, 1969, showing a reflection in Buzz Aldrin’s helmet includes astronaut Neil Armstrong, the United States flag, and the lunar lander.

Obverse: Two baby eaglets and an egg within a Bald Eagle nest., Reverse: The Bald Eagle “Challenger” with an American flag in the background. “Challenger” is a non-releasable Bald Eagle who has been trained to free fly at major events during the National Anthem.
