Obverse: Harriet Tubman distinguished herself as the first woman to lead an armed expedition in the Civil War. The Combahee River Raid resulted in more than 700 enslaved persons in South Carolina being freed. In the background, two Civil War-era boats represent the raid., Reverse: Harriet Tubman holding a spyglass in front of a row of Civil War-era tents, symbolizing her work as a scout and spy for the Union Army during the Civil War.


Civil War Token - Washington (F-117/420)
Obverse: Displays an uncloaked Washington facing right (to an observer) with two crossed flags behind him. There are 13 stars lining the edge of the coin, but due to a poor die, the stars on the right side of the coin may be light., Reverse: A wreath made up of an olive branch on the left and an oak branch on the right. At the bottom middle is a military trophy with a drum over it as well as crossed cannons and rifles.
