Obverse: The portrait in left profile of George Washington, the first President of the United States from 1789 to 1797, is accompanied with the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the lettering "LIBERTY" and it is surrounded with the face value and the inscription "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", Reverse: A peach against the state's geographical outline is accompanied with two Live Oak sprigs paying homage to the official state tree, the state's name ("GEORGIA"), the date of its admission into Union ("1788"), its motto "WISDOM JUSTICE MODERATION" on a hanging banner and the motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM"
