Obverse: The feet of the “Little Rock Nine” escorted by a soldier to enter the school. This group of nine black students entered the previously segregated facility following the landmark decision of Brown v. Board of Education., Reverse: Little Rock Central High School as it appeared in 1957. The building still operates as an educational institution and has been designated as a National Historic Site.

Obverse: Statue of Liberty, Reverse: The design features "the Legislative Muse, representing the nation’s law, with eagles perched on two Corinthian columns, representing the Senate and the House of Representatives."

Obverse: The portrait in left profile of George Washington, the first President of the United States from 1789 to 1797, is accompanied with the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the lettering "LIBERTY" and it is surrounded with the face value and the inscription "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", Reverse: An early aircraft and an astronaut on the outline of the state representing Ohio's contribution to the history of aviation.
