Obverse: Image of Liberty originally used on the Draped Bust Half Cent, produced between 1800 and 1808., Reverse: Thomas Jefferson’s monument, which is located on the grounds of his estate in Monticello.

Obverse: Crystal emblem of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games against the secondary identity mark entitled: "Rhythm of the Land” with the Olympic rings below., Reverse: Skyline of Salt Lake City with the Rocky Mountains in the background. The “rhythm of the land” appears in an arc above.

Obverse: The bust of George Washington facing left with the mintmark to the right, the country name at the top, and the denomination below, Reverse: A one-room schoolhouse with a teacher and students planting a tree. The design is based on "Arbor Day," a painting by Grant Wood, who was born near Anamosa, Iowa.
