1 Dollar (Benjamin Franklin Tercentenary, Scientist)
Obverse: Youthful Franklin flying kite, Reverse: Franklin’s famous political cartoon featuring a snake cut apart with the caption “Join, or Die”. This was intended to communicate that colonial unity was a matter of life and death.


¼ Dollar "Washington Quarter" (Texas - Silver Proof)
Obverse: The portrait in left profile of George Washington, the first President of the United States from 1789 to 1797, is accompanied with the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the lettering "LIBERTY" and it is surrounded with the face value and the inscription "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", Reverse: Outline of the State with a star superimposed on the outline and the inscription, "The Lone Star State." The lariat encircling the design is symbolic of the cattle and cowboy history of Texas, as well as the frontier spirit that tamed the land.
