The headquarters was built in the Spanish colonial revival style and completed in 1936 and the National Park Service emblem featured to the right from the door and the date at the bottom

Obverse: Liberty at seashore with olive branch in right hand and left on globe inscribed "LIBERTY." In background there are two flags, a wheat sheaf, and a steam ship., Reverse: "1/5 OF A DOLLAR" center within laurel wreath, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "TWENTY CENTS" at rim.

Obverse: Head of Liberty right with flowing hair, and liberty cap on pole behind. "LIBERTY" and date at rim., Reverse: "ONE CENT" in center of wreath (with seven berries left and right, and 14 leaves left and 18 leaves right).
