¼ Dollar "Washington Quarter" (Arches National Park, Utah)
Obverse: The portrait in left profile of George Washington, the first President of the United States from 1789 to 1797, is accompanied with the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the lettering "LIBERTY" surrounded with the denomination and the inscription "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", Reverse: Delicate Arch, a 65-foot freestanding natural arch. It is a widely recognizable landmark in Utah and the most famous arch found in the park. It has been depicted on postage stamps and license plates. The Olympic torch relay for the 2002 Winter Olympics passed through this arch. The La Sal Mountains are visible in the background.
