Obverse: The portrait in left profile of George Washington, the first President of the United States from 1789 to 1797, is accompanied with the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the lettering "LIBERTY" surrounded with the denomination and the inscription "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", Reverse: Illustrates a view to the west of two elevated kivas that are part of the Chetro Ketl Complex, the north wall of Chetro Ketl and the north wall of the canyon. This group of nine black students entered the previously segregated facility following the landmark decision of Brown v. Board of Education., Reverse: Little Rock Central High School as it appeared in 1957. The building still operates as an educational institution and has been designated as a National Historic Site.
