¼ Dollar "Washington Quarter" (Mississippi)
Obverse: The portrait in left profile of George Washington, the first President of the United States from 1789 to 1797, is accompanied with the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the lettering "LIBERTY" and it is surrounded with the face value and the inscription "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", Reverse: Along with the name of the state, "MISSISSIPPI" and "1817," the year it entered statehood, the reverse illustration displays two large magnolia blossoms, with the motto "The Magnolia State," the year of release "2002," and the Latin phrase "E Pluribus Unum."
