Obverse: U.S. Capitol building dome, the Statue of Freedom atop the dome surrounded by a circle of 13 stars., Reverse: The United States shield encircled by laurel leaves, surmounted by an eagle holding three arrows and an olive branch in its claws, flanked by two United Stats flags on either side, over two olive branches. Design inspired by the image in the center of a stained glass window in room S-222. Image in comments below.


5 Dollars "1860 Half Eagle" (Pattern; gold)
Obverse: Head of Liberty right, wearing cap with large stars. Ribbon around neck, and stars and date at rim., Reverse: Small eagle with open wings center, with scroll inscribed with motto in beak. Shield on breast, and olive branch and arrows in talons. "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "FIVE DOLLARS" at rim.
